Particulars A boat from Vági with one person aboard did not return from at fishing trip as expected. Hence relatives to the boatman warned the MRCC aboat the situation. With assistance from the Harbourmaster and from other fishing boats in the area the overdue boat was spotted as it returned to harbour safe and sound.

Particulars Police reported a missing wooden boat with a single person aboard. The boat was last seen on the 15th at 17:39 UTC in Borðoyarvík. The destination confirmed to be the village Norðskláli. A search was established with designated surface vessels and a rescue helo. Informations were broadcasted on the maritime emergency channel.At 14:30 hours the construction vessel "Siri" reported to have found the boat close to the coastline south of Argir and that the person to be in safe condition.

Particulars A local person observed a red rocket in the air over the waters northwest of Klaksvig harbor. A ship in the area could not confirm anything unusual after a short search. A short while afterwards, another ship could tell that they had seen a rocket at that moment, which they considered to be an ordinary firework. The search was subsequently canceled.
